REACh Team Leader
John is an industrial and speciality chemicals regulatory specialist, focussing primarily on REACh work and leading a broad range of REACh projects. Since 2017 he has successfully delivered multiple lead registration dossiers, over 100 inquiry/non-lead registrations, REACh ‘Only Representative’ work and study management in conjunction with CROs.
John is also an experienced consortium manager, for which he draws upon his experiences as a PRINCE II qualified project manager.
Prior to joining Staphyt, John spent 3 years at another regulatory consultancy, before which he spent 14 years at the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, working on environmental science, environmental impact assessment, soil and livestock policy areas.
Siân has worked in regulatory consultancy since 2009, both as a project manager and a toxicologist across plant protection, industrial chemicals (REACh) and biocides sectors. She recently co-authored a book chapter on toxicological data requirements for industrial chemicals.
Prior to moving into consultancy, Siân worked as a study scientist at Mars Petcare.
Siân has managed a wide range of projects and supported clients in providing regulatory and toxicological advice on strategy, identification of data gaps, dossier preparation and development of higher tier strategies, as well as liaison with regulatory authorities.
Associate’s Degree in Chemistry
Augustin has experience in R&D and quality in the air filtration industry, on wood treatment products (PT8 under the BPR) and in non-pharmaceutical regulations, including BPR (PT2-3), REACh, CLP, nutritional and PIC regulations. He worked with clients across Europe, in the US, Canada, Korea and Australia.
His background in chemistry, combined with his career within chemical regulations, affords Augustin the necessary expertise to evaluate data requirements for REACh and biocidal dossiers, advise clients on CLP, and support their products’ regulatory strategy development.
