We are looking for a “Research Agronomist” to undertake trials in the field environment across Tasmania.

Primary duties include:

  • Conducting field trials;
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with growers and industry to access suitable field trials sites;
  • Data analysis and interpretation;
  • Preparation of high quality and timely scientific reports.

The key attributes required for the position are a demonstrated initiative, a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, adaptability and dependability and an interest in self-improvement and training.

The successful applicant must have a degree in agricultural science or a related field.  Excellent computer skills are a prerequisite and it is essential the applicant has the ability to work alone and in a team environment.
