Napier, New Zealand, hosted the 2021 Agcarm summer conference, where Staphyt New Zealand Country Manager Jarrod Harvey and Hastings Site Manager Ashleigh Mitchell-Forde were in attendance. A challenge of late from such events due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the conference was an excellent opportunity for our team and current and prospective clients to meet and catch up after the long break.
The conference was hugely beneficial to our staff and industry, with talks including the fit of new biological products in a regenerative farming model and staff resilience and well-being. Participants acquired new tools for managing stress and updates on the Agrecovery recycling scheme. The conference included a crop protection workshop where the EPA and MPI gave regulatory updates, where participants were able to ask questions directly to the regulator.
The ever-popular wine tasting and conference dinner were highly regarded networking opportunities for all in attendance. Staphyt is looking forward to attending the next Annual Agcarm conference in Wellington this July.
