Summary:

Dislodgeable Foliar Residues represent a key information used to refine the worker exposure assessment. The studies set up to obtain these data help to refine the default values used for exposure calculation. DFR studies provide a precise determination of the initial value after application and its decrease over time.

The studies are conducted under GLP compliance. Setting up a Study Plan is rather complex when guidelines are not specifically designed for these studies. The Study Plans are currently based on different guidelines and offer different approaches. 

This webinar presents the options generally followed by Staphyt to conduct these studies with some recommendations in terms of:

  • number of trial situations
  • sampling methodology
  • field fortification
  • analytical verification and validation or results
  • calculations and reporting.
