ECOTOXICOLOGY: impact studies on beneficials
Acarologists and entomologists make up BIOPHYT team. They manage studies as:
  • Tests under laboratory conditions,
  • Enlarged tests on leaves or leaf-disks,
  • Tests under semi-field conditions

    The main Arthropod groups are:
    Hymenoptera parasites (Aphidius rhopalosiphi, Trichogramma cacoecidae)
    Aphids predators (Chrysoperla carnea, Coccinella septempunctata, Orius laevigatus)
    Acarina predators (Typholodromus pyri.)
    Terrestrial predators (Poecilus cupreus, Pardosa spp., Aleochara bilineata)

    EFFICIENCY and CROP SAFETY  
  • Wide scale screening on pot plants: insecticides, fungicides, herbicides,
  • Determination of LD 50 and LD 90 on pests

    ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES  
  • Studies about spraying behaviour and comparisons of formulations
